In a land split between demigods and mortals, Anari Desai is exiled from her kingdom for unlocking the power of a mysterious key, one of three. Under her guidance, Anari joins a rebel group with origins in an opposing kingdom that hopes to take down her king’s everlasting dynasty.

Meanwhile, Mirza infiltrates the kingdom’s aristocracy as the nobles and king vie for her power, which bears a strange resemblance to the sealed-away demigods. Even as she fulfills vile orders for the king, her true loyalty lies with the vengeful exiled princess, Anari.
