I recently had my work edited by and am blown away by the level of professionalism and depth she puts into editing! I was a little wary of paying for an editor because I've heard mixed advice on it. But she is more than worth the money. Both her inline comments and overarching developmental edits were obviously well thought out and helpful. She didn't just point out what was bad, but explained why she thought something wasn't working and suggested solutions. She is very easy to communicate with and continues working with writers after she submits her work. She seems to have an excellent grasp on all levels of writing from grammar to character development and fleshing out plot.
