As many of you may know, our founder is also one of the co-founders of the amazing organization known as WriteHive. Inked has hosted booths at their conference, workshops on their discord, and sponsored their most recent Horror Contest, which featured ten amazing authors who will be published in an anthology coming June 2021.
But that’s not why we’re here. We’re here to announce another amazing collaboration between Inked in Gray Press and WriteHive. If you were present for the closing remarks at WH 2021, you already know what we’re planning. And, it’s going to be amazing!
From now until June 30, 2021, WriteHive is accepting short stories for our next anthology, centered around their mission of writing the future we need. The theme of the anthology is:
Writing the Future We Need: Navigating Ruins

Theme: Writing the Future we Need: Navigating Ruins. There is no limit to how to incorporate this theme into your work as long as the story falls within the horror, sci-fi, or fantasy genre.
Word Limit: Up to 10k words
Submission Cost: FREE
Limit: Two works. MUST be submitted separately.
Reprints: No Reprints. Work must not have been previously published. Simultaneous submissions are welcome, but let us know if the work is accepted elsewhere.
Royalty Payment: $30 per piece plus one contributor copy
Rights: First edition exclusive anthology rights for the first six months of publication
